Liverpool Pilotage Services provide pilotage services to the Port of Liverpool and the River Mersey.
Numbering more than 45, the Liverpool Pilots provide a vital service to the large number of docks that line the world famous River Mersey.
Pilots have been working the River Mersey since the first industrial docks were founded, and as such are an integral part of the River Mersey, Liverpool, Wirral's and even North Wales history. We are one of the oldest services in the region since founding in 1766.
